Afenginn makes long-form, rhythm-driven music rooted in acoustic instruments and compositional structure.
If you’re new here, start with one of the paths below - each opens a different side of the same music.

long-form continuous albums…

If you're into long-form listening - a whole "movement" or a full album, this is where you start. We’ve made four albums that unfold as a single piece.

Start with OPUS (or even here with the new album Movements I ) and then move on to Movements I (2025), Klingra (2019) and Reptilica Polaris (2008).

Calm, introspective, lyrical…

If you're into the calmer, melancholic and borderline classical side of Afenginn, then start with Klingra (2019) and move on to Lux (2012) and the 2nd movement of OPUS (2016). Here you'll find the most of the music in this direction.

Rhytmical, dance, boogie, physical

If this is what gets you going, start with Movements I and work backwards to Bastard Etno, Akrobakkus and Retrograd. Also OPUS, especially parts 1, 3 and 4 will be a good choice.

Movements I is also a long-form listening experience.
