New album: MOVEMENTS I
A F E N G I N N [a´fæn:gin]
An old norse word that resists direct translation. It describes a state somewhere between intoxicated and possessed, with no clear boundary between the two.

“We believe music can alter your experience of time.
Make it feel, however briefly, like something other than what it usually is.”
“Be Drunk” Charles Baudelaire
You have to be always drunk. That's all there is to it—it's the only way. So as not to feel the horrible burden of time that breaks your back and bends you to the earth, you have to be continually drunk.
But on what? Wine, poetry or virtue, as you wish. But be drunk.
We are very proud to announce that Movements I has been nominated for a Faroese Music Award for Alternative Album of the Year. It’s a big honour to be recognized among all the music that has been released throughout the year.
The award show will be held in the Nordic House in Tórshavn, Faroe Island on March 6th. It will be sent on Faroese national television as well.
