New upcoming Afenginn album:
Movements I
MOVEMENTS I is the eighth album by Afenginn - a cinematic, rhythm-driven work in six parts.
The album is part of a trilogy unfolding over three years.
The first volume - Movements I - drops on September 19th, 2025.
The singles from Movements I
We’re releasing four singles from Movements I ahead of the album drop on September 19th. Each single will be followed by a Close-Up Version - a reimagined version of the tracks.
The first single AELVA is out now. The single edit opens with a 11/8 flow, followed up by a heartbeat-like pulse and layered cello and violin, before moving into a choral-like theme.
Aelva (Close-Up Version) shifts the focus toward rhythm and physicality: deeper and darker. Same DNA, but expressed in a different setting.

2nd single:
TAKTSTOK
Taktstok, the second single from the upcoming Movements I album is out now. It has muscle, dance, pathos, and bombast, with Nordic flair - a bit like salmiak-infused salty liquorice on a bed of raspberry ice cream.

3rd single:
UNDERTRYK
Third single from Movements I is out today: Undertryk.
Built on a hypnotic pizzicato groove, it slowly gathers its layers: Greek-style clarinet, African percussion, and wordless vocals. Sitting in the final spot on the A-side, it’s intimate, textured, and - hopefully - quietly addictive.
Undertryk!

4th single:
EMBERLIN
A glowing electronic pattern sets the foundation for Emberlin: a slow-building instrumental led by an aching violin melody and wrapped in swelling, textured layers.
